Global Talent Partners Limited was set up in 2022 in a context of mismatches in the Maltese labour market, with the aim of specialising
in mobilising the best local and international talent for the logistics, transport, construction and road infrastructure industries. We have
set has the following key objectives:
- As a team we are determined to provide the best local and foreign talent to these industries whilst offering a solution to the human
resource mismatches that the islands’ economy has been facing in recent years. - With its experience and professional expertise, our firm is equipped with offering quality service to employers, assisting them in
moving their business forward, addressing challenges and recruiting the best talent available locally and internationally to improve
competitiveness. - We are committed towards assisting employees in optimising their talent whilst reaching their full potential in a professional, legal
and expert-driven recruitment process.

Alessia Psaila Zammit
Managing Director
Alessia Psaila Zammit is a lawyer and entrepreneur.
Throughout her career she gained experience in the leadership and management of organisations. Between 2007- 2008 she served as President of the National Youth Council and between 2017 and 2019, she served as Mayor of Siggiewi. Alessia has also served as a board member of public boards and public corporations. She worked in the media and public relations, with 18 years of experience in the field.
In 2020, she established a business that represents international brands in the retail sector. In 2022, she joined Mr Godwin Xerri in the establishment of this recruitment company, Global Talent Partners Ltd.
Alessia graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics, Banking and Finance and a Bachelor of Laws with Philosophy (LL.B), both from the University of Malta, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies from the University of Manchester.
Alessia graduated with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the IUKB University in Switzerland and a Masters in Bioethics from the University of Malta. In 2011, she graduated with Doctor of Laws (LL.D) from the University of Malta.


Matthew Xerri
Director
Matthew Xerri holds a Doctor of Laws (LL.D) from the University of Malta and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) (Maritime Law) from the International Maritime Law Institute of IMO. Matthew has been practicing law since 2010 and has specialized in Maritime and Aviation Law with Ganado Advocates, with particular focus on ship and aviation finance, including the implementation of alternative financing methods. He has published a number of articles including “A decade of the Aircraft Registration Act” and has also contributed to the Malta chapter in the Shipping Finance book prepared by Stephenson Harwood. Matthew regularly lectures at the Summer ELSA Law School and in 2020 was awarded the Rising Star Award for Malta by the Euromoney Media Legal Group.
In 2022, Matthew was appointed as a non-executive Director of Focal Maritime. Earlier this year – 2023, Matthew was appointed as Partner with Ganado Advocates.
Matthew is the son of Mr Godwin Xerri – a shareholder of Global Talent Partners Limited, a seasoned entrepreneur and experienced operator in the local Maritime sector.
